Le Petit Permadise

In 2017 we bought our little Permadise. We lived in our camper for the first two months because there was nothing apart from walls and a roof. 
First we renovated our pretty little house. Fortunately, electricity and water were already on the property.
But since winter was just around the corner, we had to hurry up a bit
Campers got cold. We had to rebuild the bathroom from scratch.

When our house was finished we slowly started to renovate the chambre d'hôte. After that   we turned the hangar into a greenhouse.

Spring came and we tried our garden for the first time. We as craftsmen (both trained polymechanics, Dustin has also completed additional training as a ship operations technician) had no idea about gardeners. We try to build the whole thing according to the principles of permaculture. When building and renovating, we also try to reuse and recycle as much as possible and only buy things that we really can't find second hand. 

We finished the major renovation work on the Chambre d'hôte in 2023. We rent two rooms in the main building, each with its own bathroom. The large living room, a kitchen and an outdoor kitchen can be used by everyone. There you will find various games, Bücker and a sewing and handicraft corner.

On the terrace, in the deck chairs or in the hammock you can relax and unwind.
Various outdoor games and a large trampoline are also available.
You will find many nice ways to walk or bike. 
 

Our wonderful dog Dalilah, our tomcat Samson, chickens, two dwarf goats Heidi and Betzi and since last year Arnie and Hobbit our horses live with us. We will soon be able to welcome our first calf as we will have our own milk, yoghurt etc. in the future. would like to produce in order to come a step closer to self-sufficiency.

Our next projects are the completion of the tree house and a small campsite. We hope to be able to rent out the tree house this summer, as well as some camping spots and our caravan from the 70s...
